Rousseau Dam

Took a trip out to Lake Rouseau in the Inglis/Crystal River area of Florida.

It's a beautiful little spot with some nice trails, and good fishing. Don't forget your bug spay because I did and ended up with just shy of 100 new bug bites mostly on my legs.

There was plenty of active wildlife near the dam. I spotted six different species of birds, and nearly had my head taken off by an osprey. Once the sun had set the fish started jumping as well. I managed to capture one on my phone video camera but it's too dark and far away to see. 😢
